Hero 9 to 5 #1 Wow, this was great! B or C list heroes working for a company. I like the story of Flame O, who works for Heroes For Zeroes. After reading #1 I want more. I like what happens after the hero captures the "viilian." The art and writing was fantastic. I will be looking for more to read from AAM/Markosia.

Killswitch issue 1
by Ronald S.
Publisher: Wicked Comics
Date Added: 05/03/2018 23:07:42
Killswitch issue 1 If you like blood and killing in your comics, then this one is for you. The main character Killswitch has a nice outfit with a K on his mask and his gear on his body is shaped like a K. Killswitch has a sense of humor like Spider-Man, but kills like The Punisher. He's a character that you want to know more about. It's an action-packed introduction in this first issue. There are also pages with ads for upcoming titles from Wicked Comics: Clownman#2 and Justice#1. The fan art pages are well done. ...

BASH! Ultimate Edition

Date Added: 04/18/2018 05:55:28
BASH! Ultimate Edition Hello, This review is based on reading only. I have not yet played the game. Bash does not seems to be a complicated RPG. The basic book contains all what is needed to play and run the game : character creation with small and not overwhelming budget, easy rules to play (if you know multiplications), a lot of powers to choose, good advice for the game master, a setting chapter who describes 10 of the most used comics settings and how to implement them in play and a lot of already made heroes and villains for all power levels covered by the game. It is a game I could run somehow in the future. My only small gripes are : Hit Points, I don’t think Hit Points is a good thing in a superhero RPG and the tactical aspect of the game which, I think is playable without a battlegrid but seems to requires one anyway. ...

The Magic Fire
by Jonas R.
Publisher: CaveArtifex

The Magic Fire The Magic Fire is a full color comic of 20 pages by Claudia Cangini. I knew her illustrations from several roleplaying games. This is the first comic I read by her. It tells a fairy tale of a magic fire that needs no new wood to keep burning, warming the house. It is kept in place by a fire screen, and the mother warns her daughter never to remove it. Cangini uses few words in plain language (fitting for the fairy tale style) to go with her panels. Her art uses bold inks and lively colors, with a love for round and flowing shapes and little intricacies, e.g. patterns in the clouds, or the wooden walls of the house, which add life to the pictures without getting in the way. Page composition and paneling are well crafted, as are the color schemes for the various parts of the story, which are contrasting well without breaking the overall cohesion of the comic. Credit also goes to Paolo Bosi for layout, lettering, and color assistance. I enjoyed the story, and I think this is also a co...

Black Dog and Rebel Rose: The Road to Hell I am in awe of the artistic skills of Dani Smith and Alex Julian. I absolutely adore their work! I have read the story in book form and I'm really happy to experience it in comic book form now. This is start when they first meet. Rose and Skriker looks fierce as they battle the things that go bump in the night. I only have one complain... I can't see what Roses father is hiding under his kilt.

Quantum Vibe: Assimulation

Quantum Vibe: Assimulation Marvelous story, excellently told. I followed it on the website and am ecstatic to have a full-blown copy. You'll enjoy the strangely familiar situation in which the explorers find themselves, and finding out WHY they're so familiar was an absolute treat. Eithne is a marvelous heroine and it was a wonderful delight to see just how she plays the game. Totally worth the time to read it. I don't have to tell you to "have fun" because you very surely will. :)
