I am in awe of the artistic skills of Dani Smith and Alex Julian. I absolutely adore their work! I have read the story in book form and I'm really happy to experience it in comic book form now. This is start when they first meet. Rose and Skriker looks fierce as they battle the things that go bump in the night. I only have one complain... I can't see what Roses father is hiding under his kilt.

I don't normally read comic books, at least not since childhood. Dani Smith has introduced me to a new kind of read with a bite. She got me hooked with Skriker #0 A Boy and His Beast.

I have really been looking forward to this copy and the artist does not disappoint.

I read the book Black Dog and Rebel Rose earlier in the year and I loved it. I was excited to see how you make a book into a comic book. It was awesome!

The art is beautiful; it's so full of details. The dialog is fresh and fun. It generally delivers on all accounts. I cannot wait until the next part of the story is coming where Rose and Skriker finally meet.

I also loved the fan art in the back of the book. I think it was a great addition to the book.
