An attack on Athens Greece is another hit to the Earthers. Martha's story is revealed. His backstory is hard and revenge is her mission. We see the new character Sean Sullivan make his entrance in theis issue. We see the story behind this guy. Sean will add a whole new element to this story. Each panel is packed with details. The use of colors by F. Caracuzzo is solid. G. Caracuzzo's artwork has a flair for sci-fi and at times very witty.

The set up of panels makes this issue stand out from others. It keeps the story fresh and alive. Grzzt is kidnapped. The team learns more about the Kazoops.

We see the character Kevin and some information on him. Kevin wants to be an actor. Now he is part of the teaam with his career derailed. His life will definitely be a challenge now.

The creative team has put together an issue that lays a deeper foundation for the story and the characters.

While Daryl is trying to survive with a bear at his house; we see more of his story. We also learn why the Kazoop want to destroy the Earth. The Kazoops decide by attacking Fort Knox this will be a positive outcome. All they want is Grzzt and forcing the earthers to give him back is one way to do it. The use of the colors definitely is a plus for this series. It really gives you the sci fi feel.

While the Combat team is out fighting; the animals make sense. The part the team didn't know ... is they also have to live with them. This is not ideal for any of the, While the dog and ferrets are no challenge the bear and tiger is a big problem. The team have no choice and looks like alot of explanations are going to be needed. Some of Nina's back story is shared and looks like bringing a toger home is one of her many problems. Daryll looks like he has a set of challenges at his home, too. The writer Nate W. is having a blast adding in humor for both the humans and the animals.

Interesting issue. A new team is assembled. It is a Human and Animal Combat team. Going to the zoo was on the list to do. The team is able to keep Grzzt safe. This issue does have some action and fighting scenes. The animals seem to add a sense of gore to this issue. While the animals have personalities and can talk; they still seem like they will be eating alot of people.

While the team seems so very different; the writer Nate W tries to keep a uniting personality with the characters. The use of panels and page space are out of the box a bit; but helps the story make the most of the moments.

I got the first issue (for free) thank you Wunderman Comics for that some time ago. I found that the other comic books were pretty good. This being the original series they did; it will be interesting to see how this series plays out vs the others. I see it is ongoing; let's see if I can commit to more issues. First, you have to like sci-fi. Second, you have to accept bugs as the aliens from outer space. Third, could this happen to Earth? There is a good balance of writing and visuals. Each panel is busy. Busy in a good way. It is full of details that is important to the story. The font choice for Grzzt is different. The Home Guard fighters capture Grzzt. He is a tech guy with the Kazoops. Grzzt does not want to be with the Kazoops. He actually wants to help Earth. The Kazoops want him back and start attacking. The leader of the Home Guards is Nate. Nate is able to protect Grzzt and keep him out of harm's way. With an assembled team-aa new way to help win is announced.

The cover makes you think it is a fun issue. The ending of this issue will be tragic and give you a twist. We several stories coming slowly together. Paulina, Brutus, Garibaldi and SJ have a day alone. A break is always a good thing. We see they how they each spend the day. The past is still very much a part of them. While they try to enjoy their day; drama is always there for them. The Professor is back and not able to give the readers any insight into what Peter brought him yet. The writer Nate W. flows more depth into the characters while the artist gives you a solid visual to each panel. The panels are set up for maximum impact. The reader can follow along easily.

One of my favorite covers. Definitely makes it very interesting and compelling. The artist Yamamoto clearly excelled in this issue. The facial expressions and body language clearly brings the action to life. The coloring by Roberts is very key to the artists work and she has done a great job. The action continues in this issue. Finding somebody at a beach in LA is not easy. The writer clearly has a fondness and/or familiarity of the LA area. If you are familiar with the LA area; you will appreciate this series a little more. Unlike the Spartan and Chumash girls' this hobo has been able to blend in easier. This mission is a high priority as the consequences will be felt in the time line for years to come. The hitman is still looking to take out Peter. You see a little turmoil everywhere behind the scenes. The team is able to complete the mission and seems with little damage and public awareness.

We see a hitman going after Peter. Will he succeed? The crew relaxes and try and have a normal afternoon. Just as they think they can just eat; it seems like another mission is on their daily agenda. This is a tough mission and very important. This hobo is from the Great Depression. The hobo wakes up in Santa Monica and is wandering around. The headquarters is aalerted. This hobo is carrying a deadly virus. This issue is defintely action packed. There is alot going on. The coloring by Josephine Roberts continues to make the story jump on the pages and a nice overall visuaal presentation The writer Wunderman tries to keep the ongoing stories in an order that readers will stay connected and involved.

The writer Nate Wunderman writing flows easily from panel to panel. The reader is able to follow along and be involved with the story. The coloring is rich and deep in each issue. I am a fan of the coloring. A police chase continues in this issue. Learning to evade the police is something the team will have to learn. Sgt. Lee takes control and gets them out of this mess. They can continue on their mission. Meanwhle, the girls are scared and have no understanding of cars, traffic orwhere they are. Scared, they continue to run around downtown LA. The team catches up with the girls to send them back. We learn that when people are sent back; they continue with their destiny. Good or bad; they must go back. A cool gadget appears in this issue. Washing the memory of events. I think it will be for "regular" people who may see things they weren't suppose to.

The newly assembled team have a successful run at stopping the Spartan. Fortunately, nobody was killed and the higher ups are somewhat pleased. However, the scene was a public nighmare. We see the comic go to a scene from 1782. As that story from 1782 unfolds we see a pinkish swirl that 2 Chumash girls go through. Once on the other side, they are now in present day. The boss is notified that 2 girls are now in the wrong time. The head guy decides to ride with the team. While on the ride to locate the girls the police now are after them team. Like how the writer adds various characters in to spice up the story. While Peter may be the main antagonist we see another example of Time Line mistakes. These are very entertaining and welcomed in this story line.

No spoiler alerts. Ordering the bundle of 6 issues made this a better read. I was able to see the story from beginning to end. Pythagoras was definitely the backbone of the issue and did not disappoint. A good vampire story is always welcome. The writer Tabu clearly gave each character personality and an ending that was actually a surprise. It could have gone several ways and he picked a conclusion that was a surprise. Tabu continued to shine a sympathetic light on Pythagoras and have the reader connect with him.
The art and coloring were a bonus that had no shortcomings. I recommend this series. I wonder if there will ever be an addition to this or is it really over?

This issue is the setup for the final issue. While the focus is if the 2 Vampire Nations can come together to stop Pythagoras? Hasdrupal is a nice addition to this issue. We see he has been around a long time and has stayed under the radar. He has chosen to NOT pick sides and continue through the years in peace. Vlad is an interesting character. While he is appreciative he will become a traitor. Medea and Sofia think they have everything figured out. Do they think that they can outsmart Pythagoras even with an army? The dialogue is clear and Tabu keeps it fresh and a little intense. The artwork and coloring reflect the mood of the story and the quality level is on point.

Yes, The Reaper is Pythagoras. While we were left with a cliffhanger in Issue 0; the reader was to assume he died. He wanted everybody to think he was dead. We find out what Pythagoras has been up to all of these years. While he tried to bond with his new eternal life; there seemed to be challenges. He We see Pythagoras transform over the years and the path he chose. Ending Vampire Nation was apparent as the years went by. Tabu gives you answers and helps control the expectations a reader would expect or not expect. Stopping Medea and Sofia may have severe consequences but for Pythagoras; his mission is clear

I am not going to tell you how this issue plays out too much and spoil the twist. The nations continue to fight. Maybe a truce is in the cards for Medea and Sofia. They seem so involved in their own life and wants; they really keep missing the bigger picture. Losing Zalmoxis should have been a clue to step back and unite.
Great use of the panels. F. Caracuzzo continues to use the colors to highlight the importance of each part of the story. G. Caracuzzo helps the reader to be invested in vampire nation and how it will turn out with fine artwork. Tabu continues to deliver the goods.
